Foodtogether is a social enterprise that has grown to over 10 towns and cities across New Zealand, as well as supporting and collaborating with organisations in Christchurch and Wellington, to develop a national network of community produce coops. The mission at Foodtogether is to connect communities around healthy food, create jobs and to equip and empowering local collectives, to make fresh food more affordable and accessible for all while resourcing communities.
As a social enterprise, we operate with a committed team of staff and volunteers that keeps our costs low. If you think Foodtogether could partner with your school / community group / marae to get an awesome project off the ground – please get in touch.
We are here to create solutions around nutrition and affordability. Unfortunately for some families, the cost around fresh produce is not in their budget.
Foodtogether's roots go back over 25 years to a little Christchurch Anglican Church, where a local Vicar saw a need to improve the accessibility and affordable for healthy fresh produce, then took action.
The Discovery Phase- Our developers perform research and brainstorming before picking up any tasks to ensure the development of the desired functionalities in one go.
The Execution Phase- After gathering all the nuts and bolts to proceed, it’s time for project execution. Our developers and quality analysts followed the development process for execution and worked side-by-side to achieve the project aims. Our project managers also did regular reviews to check the progress of the project went smoothly and according to the time.
Sprint Base Project Delivery- Developer is involved in taking the client’s priorities on tasks. This process helps us to meet the client’s expectations in the best possible manner and ensure the timely delivery of the tasks.
The Deployment Phase- When a task is ready and tested it is deployed on the Heroku server.
